DIY Disney Face Mask Ideas
Start Wearing Face Masks
By now, most of you are probably spending more time at home than you had planned on this Spring. Everyone has become physical distancing experts while trying to stay connected at the same time. It’s challenging to say the least and it’s evident that this situation is a marathon not a sprint.
Recently the Center for Disease Control (CDC) recommended that individuals that have to venture out wear a cloth face mask to help slow the spread of COVID-19 . We here at 23&Main have taken this seriously and are willing to do whatever we can to help flatten the curve. True to our Disney roots, we also decided to try an make this task a little fun too!
Now as most of you have probably already discovered, pre-made face masks are not easy to come by. We also understand we need to reserve those N95 masks for healthcare professionals and first responders. That got us thinking that instead of ripping up that old T-shirt to make a mask, why not turn it into a project that involves favorite Disney characters and the family!

As you can see there are plenty of options to make your own Disney Face Mask. These are just a few options but there are many more. Just be sure to look at where they ship from and the estimated time of delivery. Some patterns are sourced from overseas suppliers that add a lot of time to shipping. Most, however, can be expected to arrive within a week. There are also plenty of patterns available online to make your own Disney Face Mask, so choose one that fits your crafting ability.
Instructions
There are sew and no-sew instructions on the CDC website, YouTube, FaceBook and numerous other places.

Making your own Disney Face Mask can be fun and involve as many people as needed. For instance we had people in our family complete certain steps in order to make sort of an assembly line. Each member had something to do from creating a template, shaping the fabric, ironing, to sewing. Building a mask is a great way to keep people involved, feel a little less anxiety, and little bit more in control of their well being.
While we wish we didn’t have to make this post, we hope that it helps all our followers stay healthy and mentally fit. Together we will get through this!
